Bath day for the baby elephant: Pixar-style AI video prompt

A 25-second Pixar-style family short. A baby girl and her grandpa give a baby elephant its morning bath in a tropical river, with soap-bubble hats, a giant trunk spray, slow-motion rainbow droplets and one very wet grandpa. Here is the full workflow and both prompts, so you can make it yourself.

2. Grandfather: A cheerful elderly man with a thick curled white mustache, twinkling eyes, deep smile lines, a wide round straw hat, a faded blue checkered lungi rolled up at the knees and a cream sleeveless vest. He is gentle, funny and a little clumsy.
3. Baby Elephant: A tiny adorable elephant calf with soft slate-grey skin, a pink-tinted trunk tip, huge long-lashed amber eyes, oversized floppy ears with pink insides, a little tuft of hair on its head and a small red cloth ribbon around its neck. Playful, curious and affectionate.

SCENE 1 – THE RIVER MORNING (0–3 SECONDS)

A sweeping cinematic shot glides over a misty tropical river at sunrise, with golden light through palm leaves. Grandfather walks down the muddy bank carrying a wooden bucket and a coconut-husk scrub brush, with the baby girl riding on his shoulders and pulling at his hat. At the water's edge, the baby elephant waits, ears flapping, tail wagging in excitement.
SFX: Soft river flow, morning birds, gentle string melody, the elephant's happy little squeak.

SCENE 2 – INTO THE WATER (3–6 SECONDS)

Grandfather sets the baby girl on a flat sun-warmed rock in the shallows with a small wooden bowl to splash with. The baby elephant trots into the river, kicking up bright splashes, and plops down with a happy rumble. The baby girl claps and bounces.
SFX: Splashes, a soft trumpet-squeak, baby giggles, bubbling water.

SCENE 3 – SCRUB-A-DUB (6–10 SECONDS)

Close-up shots of grandfather scrubbing the elephant's back with the coconut-husk brush as soap bubbles pile up. Bubbles form a funny hat on the elephant's head. Its eyes close in bliss, its back foot thumps in the water, and its ears flap slowly. The baby girl pokes a bubble, and it pops on her nose.
SFX: Rhythmic scrub sounds, soft bubble pops, a happy rumbling purr, a playful pizzicato tune.

SCENE 4 – THE BIG SPRAY (10–14 SECONDS)

The elephant rises and fills its trunk with river water, its cheeks puffing out and its eyes sparkling mischievously. It lifts its trunk and releases a huge fountain of water that arcs over the river, soaking grandfather's hat, splashing the baby and drenching the bank. Water flies in every direction.
SFX: A deep water gulp, a trumpet-squeak, a big whoosh, a heavy splash, baby squeal of delight.

SCENE 5 – THE RAINBOW DROPLETS (14–18 SECONDS)

Signature slow-motion shot. Thousands of water droplets hang in the golden sunlight like glass beads as a soft natural rainbow forms in the spray. Cut to the baby girl's wide, amazed eyes with tiny rainbow reflections, a droplet sliding down the elephant's long eyelashes and grandfather's mustache dripping with water as he blinks in surprise.
SFX: Time slows with a soft low hum, shimmering droplets, a gentle chime melody, then normal sound slowly returns.

SCENE 6 – GRANDPA SLIPS (18–22 SECONDS)

Grandfather steps toward the elephant on a mossy rock, his foot slides, and both arms windmill wildly as he flops backward into the shallows. His straw hat spins in the air and lands on the elephant's head. The baby girl bursts into giggles and claps her chubby hands, while the elephant freezes, ears flat, and covers its smiling mouth with its trunk, as if it feels a little guilty.
SFX: A slipping squeak, a big comedic splash, a bouncy trombone slide, delighted baby claps and giggles.

SCENE 7 – THE SWEET DRY-OFF (22–25 SECONDS)

Calm and warm. The baby elephant leans down gently and, with a soft warm puff of air from its trunk, blows the baby girl's wet hair dry, and her two puffs flutter in the breeze. She scrunches her eyes and giggles. Grandfather sits in the water laughing with his hat on the elephant's head. Finish with a warm close-up of the baby and the elephant's forehead touching in golden sunlight with a faint rainbow behind them.
SFX: A soft airy puff, gentle baby giggles, a warm music box melody, a final soft trumpet-squeak.

Tips

  • Make the character sheet first. The hex colours in it keep the romper, lungi and ribbon the same shade in every shot.
  • The slow-motion rainbow scene is the hardest. If it comes out messy, generate it again on its own and cut it in during the edit.
  • Keep the negative line. It stops the model drifting into neon colours or a photo-real look.
